Newark, NJ – Handcrafted weaves of threads and fibers create a natural, serene effect in Thibaut’s Grasscloth Resource collection. Bringing traces of nature indoors, these wallpapers include woven jute, seagrass, boodle, sisal, raffia and paper weaves, along with two grasscloth prints. The prints have designs printed under or over the grasscloth, and some have metallic effects, creating a variety of looks. Patterns are enlivened with fresh and clean colors that complement the Thibaut palette. Grasses is an exclusive hand printed tone on tone pattern with a botanical motif of grass and wildflower silhouettes bending in the wind. The pattern is printed on the face of a fine jute cloth. It is available in spring green, cream, slate blue, and khaki. Another hand printed grasscloth, Kunqu Damask, is a clean, modern damask that’s been softened with fibrous texture. It’s available in brown, willow, beige and gray color schemes.

Hand made paper weaves with raffia, jute cloth, boodlecloth, seagrass and luxurious fine sisal are included in the collection. They come in a variety of textural designs and tonal colors ranging from soft cream, willow, stone and apriocot to aqua, pumpkin, blueberry, avocado, mocha and charcoal. Selections of weaves include pearl, metallic silver, gold, and copper.

The woven designs in this new Thibaut collection provide rooms with an interesting backdrop and harmonize particularly well with styles ranging from modern to country, and tropical to traditional. Patterns are 36” wide which is wider than traditional wallcoverings, and the materials are natural.
